Born on March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands, van Gogh’s journey into the realms of art was as tumultuous as it was brilliant. His life, marked by intense passion, mental turmoil, and a relentless pursuit of his art, ended tragically in July 1890. Yet, his legacy, encapsulated in over 2,100 artworks, continues to captivate and inspire.

The Getty Center in Los Angeles is a museum and cultural center located atop a hill in the Santa Monica Mountains. It houses an impressive collection of artwork and artifacts, as well as a library, research center, and gardens.
